Lumenlan Kite

Kite is a vendor-neutral, NAT-traversing remote control center for coding agents. From a browser or phone, you can drive Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Kimi Code, and other agents running across your machines.

What it solves

You may have development machines at home, at work, and in the cloud, each running different coding agents. When you step away, you still want to see their state, continue the work, and take control at the right moment. Kite is that steering wheel and dashboard.

How it works

  • A daemon on each machine makes an outbound connection to the public relay. The machine needs no inbound port and no public IP.
  • The relay forwards live control signals and terminal screen bytes. Source files remain on your machine; the relay does not create a hosted copy of your repository or conversation.
  • A real TUI is mirrored to the web. The agent runs its native interactive terminal on your machine, and Kite mirrors it byte for byte. Slash commands and mode switches are still handled by the agent.

  • Fleet view: see which agents are running on each machine and which one is waiting for you.
  • Remote control: type, paste images, and answer directly from a browser or phone.
  • Multiple machines and agents: manage Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Kimi Code, and more in one panel.
  • Machine sharing: lend a machine to a collaborator temporarily, with expiry and audit history.
  • Account membership: membership belongs to your Lumenlan account while agents continue to use your own Claude, Codex, and other sign-ins.
