Search covers documents and approved knowledge across all projects. Every result shows the project it belongs to.

Get better results

Deerlight uses word matching: it looks for terms that actually appear in the content.

For better results:

  • Use words you expect to see in the document, rather than a full conversational question. Searching for “callback retry” is more precise than “how should a failed payment callback be retried?”
  • Try another wording when nothing appears: a synonym, a shorter phrase, or a distinctive proper name.
  • Conceptually related content will not match when the words differ completely.

A connected AI assistant uses the same search behavior. If you cannot find an item using the words you naturally expect, the assistant probably cannot either. Add those terms to the source document when they would make it easier to discover.
